Setting Up Your Brand Style

Brand consistency is critical for restaurants. Fudie's Brand Kit ensures every generated image looks like it belongs to your brand, whether you're creating content for Instagram, your menu, or delivery platforms.

What is a Brand Kit?

A Brand Kit is a team-level styling configuration that defines your restaurant's visual identity. Once configured, every team member can apply it to their generations for consistent output.

Your Brand Kit includes:

  • Style Selections — Preferred lighting, background, angles, and composition
  • Additional Instructions — Custom text describing your brand voice and visual tone
  • Brand Calibration — An AI-analyzed profile built from your existing photos
  • Style Presets — Saved combinations for quick reuse

Creating Your Brand Kit

  1. Navigate to Team in the sidebar
  2. Scroll to the Brand Kit section
  3. Give your kit a name (e.g., "Casa del Sol Brand Style")
  4. Select your preferred options for each style category:
    • Lighting, background, style, angle, cuisine, daypart, composition
  5. Add any additional instructions (up to 500 characters)
  6. Click Save

Running Brand Calibration

Brand Calibration takes your brand kit to the next level by analyzing your existing photography. Our AI learns your lighting temperature, plate-ware textures, color grading, and depth-of-field preferences.

How to Calibrate

  1. In the Brand Kit section, find Brand Calibration
  2. Upload 5 to 10 photos that represent your desired aesthetic (JPEG or PNG)
  3. Click Calibrate from Uploaded Photos
  4. The AI will analyze your images in the background (this takes 1-2 minutes)
  5. Once complete, you'll see a calibration summary and extracted style profile

What the AI Learns

After calibration, Fudie extracts a Dynamic Style Profile that includes:

  • Scenery and setting preferences
  • Color palette (dominant and accent colors)
  • Colors to avoid
  • Lighting setups and intensity
  • Props and staging materials (e.g., rustic wood, ceramic, linen)
  • Concept keywords (e.g., elegant, cozy, refined)
  • Plating style preferences
  • Camera mood and tone

Recalibration

You can recalibrate at any time by uploading new photos or using your recent successful outputs. This is useful when you rebrand or change your aesthetic direction.

Using Style Presets

Style Presets let you save specific generation configurations for quick reuse:

  1. After a successful generation, save the settings as a preset
  2. Or create presets manually in Team settings
  3. When creating new content, select a preset to auto-populate all settings
  4. Your team can store a plan-based number of profiles (Appetizer: 3, Main Course: 12, The Banquet: 40)

Presets save everything: style selections, prompts, negative prompts, output formats, variations count, and even advanced controls.

Tips for Better Brand Consistency

  • Upload diverse reference photos — Include different dishes, angles, and settings to give the AI a full picture of your style
  • Be specific in additional instructions — Describe your brand in concrete terms: "warm rustic Italian trattoria with natural window light" is better than "nice restaurant"
  • Use the same preset across all team members for maximum consistency
  • Recalibrate quarterly as your menu and photography style evolve
