Creating Promotions Flyers

Fudie's Promotions Flyer mode lets you generate professional promotional flyers for your restaurant or food business. The AI renders your text, food imagery, and branding into a polished flyer design — ready for print, social media, or in-store display.

  • Cost: 1 credit per flyer
  • Variations: Up to 4 per generation
  • Recommended format: 4:5 (portrait)

Getting Started

  1. On the Create page, select Promotions Flyer as your use case
  2. Fill in the details you want on your flyer (all fields are optional)
  3. Choose a visual style
  4. Click Generate

That's it. You don't need to fill every field — the AI will work with whatever you provide. Even selecting just a promotion type and uploading a food photo can produce great results.

Choosing a Promotion Type

Pick the type of promotion your flyer is for. This helps the AI understand the context and design accordingly:

  • Discount / Sale — Percentage or dollar-off deals
  • Buy One Get One — BOGO offers
  • Happy Hour — Time-limited drink or food specials
  • New Menu Item — Launching a new dish
  • Seasonal Special — Holiday or seasonal promotions
  • Combo Deal — Bundled meal offers
  • Free Delivery — Delivery promotions
  • Grand Opening — New location or reopening
  • Event / Holiday — Special event announcements
  • Loyalty Reward — Rewards program promotions
  • Custom — Describe your own promotion in free text

You can click a promotion type to select it, and click again to deselect. This field is completely optional.

Text Fields

All text fields are optional. The AI will only render text you explicitly provide — it will never invent prices, phone numbers, or details you didn't enter.

  • Headline — The main text on the flyer (e.g., "50% OFF All Burgers This Weekend!"). Keep it punchy and short for best results.
  • Subheadline — Supporting text below the headline (e.g., "Valid Friday–Sunday, dine-in only")
  • Food Description — Describe the featured dish (e.g., "Juicy smash burgers with melted cheddar")
  • Business Name — Your restaurant's name
  • Call to Action — A short CTA like "Order Now" or "Visit Us Today"
  • Validity / Fine Print — Terms, dates, or conditions (e.g., "Valid Dec 1–15, 2026. Dine-in only.")

Tip: The more specific your headline is, the better the result. Instead of "Big Sale", try "Buy 2 Pizzas, Get 1 Free — This Weekend Only".

Uploading Food Photos

You can upload up to 3 food photos to feature on your flyer. These become the hero food imagery in the design.

By default, the Remove background option is enabled. This means the AI will:

  • Extract the food/dish from your photo
  • Remove the original background, table, plate surroundings
  • Preserve the exact ingredients, textures, and colors
  • Place the extracted food onto the flyer design

If you prefer to keep the original photo as-is (with its background), simply uncheck the "Remove background from food photos" toggle that appears below the uploads.

Supported formats: JPEG and PNG, up to 10MB each.

Adding Your Logo

Upload your restaurant's logo to have it placed on the flyer. The AI will position it in a prominent but balanced location that fits the overall design.

For best results, use a logo with a transparent background (PNG) or a clean, simple logo on a solid background.

Visual Styles

Choose a visual direction for your flyer:

StyleDescription
Bold & VibrantHigh contrast, saturated colors, punchy — great for social media
Elegant MinimalClean lines, refined typography, white space — upscale feel
Rustic & WarmEarthy tones, textured backgrounds — cozy and inviting
Neon EnergyGlowing accents, dark backgrounds — street food and nightlife vibe
Clean ModernFlat colors, geometric shapes — contemporary and professional
CustomDescribe your own visual direction in a text field

The Custom option opens a text area where you can describe exactly what you want — for example, "retro diner with halftone dots and a red/yellow palette" or "tropical beach party theme with palm leaves".

Using a Reference Flyer

Have an existing flyer design you love? Upload it as a Reference Flyer and the AI will use it as a design template — matching the layout, typography hierarchy, color scheme, and visual structure while replacing the content with your details.

This is great for:

  • Brand consistency — Match an existing campaign's look
  • Replicating competitors — Use a design you admire as inspiration
  • Iterating — Upload a previous Fudie-generated flyer to refine it

Tips for Best Results

  1. Be specific with text — "50% OFF" works better than "Big discount". The AI renders exactly what you write.
  2. Use high-quality food photos — Better input photos mean better flyer output.
  3. Don't overload with text — Flyers work best with a clear headline, short subheadline, and one CTA. Less is more.
  4. Try multiple variations — Set variations to 2-4 and pick the best one.
  5. Combine with a reference — Upload a reference flyer alongside your food photos for the most controlled results.
  6. Use 4:5 format — Portrait orientation works best for flyers that will be printed or posted on Instagram.
